Identifying Critical Natural Landscapes in MA

The Nature Conservancy and Massachusetts Division of Fisheries & Wildlife just released a new interactive map and catalogue to identify “critical natural landscapes” and “core habitats” in Massachusetts. Brought to our attention by the Mass Pollinator Network Facebook page, we have embedded and linked the ‘BIOMAP” below. This provides all MA residents with a great tool at their fingertips to see the location of crucial ecosystems in and around their homes, and a reason to monitor these areas for future developments, invasive plants etc. We must work together to take care of our larger ecosystems in our communities and that always starts right in our backyard!
