Biodiversity Builders℠ Plant Sale and more

Our Cambridge MSYEP Biodiversity Builders℠ had their Native Plant Sale last week, and it was a huge success! Many community members from Somerville Community Garden, Tufts Pollinator Group, Mystic Charles Pollinator Group, neighbors and more came out to support our students. All of our youth jumped into action participating in greeting, sales, inventory, and checkout. Their preparation of marketing, sign painting, set up, and native plant - pollinator relationships were visible especially in their customer interactions. We are so proud of our students, they were able to spread the word about native plant gardening and sell a lot of plants! This week is the last week of our programming, so check below for some other photo highlights from:

  • Alewife Reservation

  • Bee Safari with Nick Dorian

  • Client site visits

  • Fresh Pond

  • Invasive Removals

  • Jerry’s Pond

  • Kayaking to the Floating Wetland/ Magazine Beach

  • and more!
